Updates from The Dwell Project

The Dwell Project, who received a grant from Together in Service earlier this year, have recently put up two new blog posts, looking at combating domestic violence in relation to some recent big events: the Glastonbury festival and the World Cup.

5 Glastonbury tunes to end Domestic Violence gives a rundown of some recent songs that touch on various aspects of domestic violence, from children seeing domestic violence at home to the fact that many incidents of DV go unreported, as well as a challenge to write lyrics of your own that could help make a difference in stopping domestic violence.

Brazil 2014 38% looks at research that shows that domestic violence rises by up to 38% when England loses a game in the World Cup, and explores the issues surrounding the fact.
