National LGBT+ Partnership engagement workshops with the NHS

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care commissioned NHS England to undertake a review into LGBT+ health inequalities in April 2025. The review aims to identify barriers to healthcare access and areas where LGBT+ communities experience poorer healthcare experience and outcomes. The review will also identify and describe best practice approaches and make recommendations for change.

The National LGBT+ Partnership, fellow members of the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance, are undertaking a series of engagement events with different stakeholders to support the review.

Organisation delegates and their members are invited to one or more of our identity-specific virtual engagement events in support of the review.

  • 27th/28th October – 10.30am-12pm: Global Majority communities- (Representing people who are Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage and/or have been racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’) – Co-facilitated with Club Kali
  • 4th November – 11am-12.30 pm: People with Learning disabilities, Autistic people, and other neurodiversities – Co-facilitated with GIRES
  • 4th November – 1-2.30pm: People Experiencing Homelessness -Co-facilitated with Stonewall Housing
  • 13th November – 11.30am- 1pm: Refugees and people seeking asylum
  • 14th November – 1pm-2.pm: Disabled People- Co-facilitated with GIRES
  • 14th November – 3pm-4.30pm: Faith and religious communities

The sessions will have limited space, and so a speedy response would be welcome to secure your space.

This work has a very short timeline and a limited capacity for delivery, this is the reason for a relatively short-notice invite for some of these sessions, so apologies for that. Because of this, there are alternative forms also for circulation for anyone unable to attend:
