Get involved with research into lived experience with dementia

A team of researchers primarily based at the University of Nottingham are developing an online platform for people with dementia and their family carers/supporters (both current and former) that will include a collection of first-person stories about living with dementia. The overall aim is to improve quality of life for people with dementia and their carers. It is part of the Lived Experience Narratives in Dementia (LEND) programme.

The LEND project team are specifically looking to include stories/narratives from underrepresented groups in dementia, one of which is rural (and coastal) communities. The stories they wish to include are personal accounts relating to a lived experience of dementia. These stories can be shared in various formats, including text, audio, or video.
