#FaithinPartnership Week

11th – 15th September 2023

See what happened during our week celebrating and championing cross-sector working!

Everything’s changing…

You may have noticed that over the past few months that there have been a number of changes to FaithAction!  Well, this is your one stop guide to what’s changed!

New staff…

For many years, FaithAction was only a small team.  Well, now we have new staff, which makes the FaithAction team 13 people strong!  Daniel Singleton still remains at the National Executive Director, and Felicity Smith as the National Co-ordinator but we have been joined by an excellent group of newbies!  You can find out more about our new staff and what they do on the National Team page.

New contracts…

“How can you afford new staff?” I hear you shout… well, we have two new contracts which started in 2013, both funded from the Department of Communities and Local Government.  Together in Service and the Creative English programme join our work as one of the Health and Social Care voluntary sector strategic partners reporting to Department of Health, NHS England and Public Health England.  For further information on any of these programmes, check out the Areas of Work page!

New website…

We have recently launched our new look website which gives the ability for you to do more through FaithAction.net.  Stay tuned to our e-news to have a look at what you can do.

Focus on training…

Now we have such a large staff base, we are most excited to be offering training and free consultancy to our members.  To take advantage of our training, have a look at the Fast Track to Funding courses happening around the country. If you want to spend some time with a member of the FaithAction team, contact us to arrange a Faith Organisations Advice and Guidance session. We also have a number of How To guides in our Resources section on:

  1. Community Fundraising
  2. Networking
  3. Social Enterprise
  4. Grant Funding
  5. Putting on an Event
  6. Volunteering

To order from the FaithAction office, e-mail [email protected]. Please note there will be a small charge for postage in some cases.

The one thing that HASN’T changed…

…is that we are always here for faith-based and community organisations.  You should feel free to get in touch with a member of the FaithAction team about any query you have on 0845 094 6350.
