FaithAction attends Hertfordshire Faith and Health Networking Board meeting
In May FaithAction were pleased to attend the latest meeting of the Hertfordshire Faith and Health Networking Board, which brought together a range of diverse faith leaders and practitioners, alongside statutory and wider voluntary-sector partners. The meeting was held at the Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar (the UK’s largest Jain temple) and the rich discussion and exchange demonstrated what is possible when faith leaders, health partners and communities unite with a shared purpose: improving lives and reducing inequalities.
The networking board is co-ordinated by One Vision, and remains a strategic link between faith communities across the county and statutory partners including the Local Authority, public health, and NHS. We are looking forward to supporting One Vision and continuing joint work and collaboration in future.
