Health Secretary welcomes large fall in NHS dissatisfaction
Newly released data from The King’s Fund and Nuffield Trust’s British Social Attitudes survey reveals a 5.6 percentage point increase in satisfaction in the NHS, the first increase since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The rise in satisfaction has been attributed by hard work from several trusts to implement improvements to services and additional government investment to cut waiting times and recruit more GPs.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting has welcomed the drop in dissatisfaction and announced more support for the NHS through the NHS Intensive Recovery programme, due to launch in April, to provide tailored support to those trusts still experiencing high levels of dissatisfaction.
