New report highlights the health impact of homelessness

Homeless Link, part of the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance has published its 2025 Unhealthy State of Homelessness report, featuring new data and analysis on the health outcomes linked to homelessness. The report shows how homelessness worsens physical and mental health, while housing and support can make an immediate difference.

The report emphasises that many people are already unwell before becoming homeless, highlighting missed prevention opportunities at GP and community healthcare levels.
