National Cancer Patient Experience Survey (NCPES) 2024 qualitative thematic report

The National Cancer Patient Experience Survey (NCPES) 2024 qualitative thematic report was published 10th September 2025.

You can access the report on the NCPES website . The report includes findings from a thematic analysis of the open questions asked in the survey, asking patients what they found positive about their experience of cancer care and how their experience could have been better. The analysis helps us to achieve a deeper understanding of the findings from the open questions, to facilitate reflection and learning across services delivering cancer care in England.

If you are interested in hearing more about the national qualitative results of the 2024 survey, you can sign up to the results webinar hosted by NHS England. The results will be presented and there will be reflections shared by the NHSE Cancer Programme and by Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Partners.
