Locality and the Power to Change

Locality, a partner in the Health and Wellbeing Alliance, has produced two pieces of work as part of their role in the Alliance.

1. Creating greater collaboration between Primary Care Networks and VCSE organisations. Locality has worked with Integrated Care Systems, Primary Care Networks, GPs, and VCSE organisations across England to understand the challenges and opportunities in this area. 2. The impact of community anchor organisations on the wider determinants of health. In partnership with OHID, Locality conducted research with 20 community anchor organisations to understand how they impact the wider determinants of health in their communities. They found that the range of population groups and wider determinants community anchor organisations support, along with their holistic approach, has significant impact on the quality of life of their community members.
