BBC’s ‘The Good Life’
The BBC have been in contact about their newly-commissioned factual series for BBC 1 called ‘The Good Life’. It follows groups and individuals throughout the country who are involved in different activities as part of living ‘a good life’, or discovering what it is to lead a ‘good life’.
It is part of their Religious Affairs and Ethics department, and they are exploring the spiritual angle of these activities (such as beekeeping, foraging, high-lining and much more).
One of their episodes is adrenaline themed, and they are looking for their presenter, Ashley John Baptiste, to shadow an individual or group who are at the frontline of an emergency service.
The shadowing could involve a shift, or even a training exercise. They would then explore how faith fits in to the individuals’ work in emergency services.
They are aiming to film this within the next month, and the BBC series will go out at some point in April.
