Dementia carers count!

The Royal Surgical Aid Society recently launched their ‘Dementia Carers Count’ campaign. They  offer courses to help build resilience for carers of people with dementia.

Topics revolve around applying knowledge about specific types of dementia , problem solving – such as responding to changing behaviour when things get difficult. legal and financial matters and looking after yourself. The courses are co-produced with family carers who have experienced being a carer in different ways.
