How are you celebrating Faith in Partnership Week 2026?
Faith in Partnership Week 2026 is fast approaching. Over the last five years, Faith in Partnership Week has celebrated cross-sector work taking place in the UK at a local and national level and looked to encourage its expansion.
We’ve launched reports that have gone on to influence government policy. We’ve celebrated the role of the Faith Covenant plays in bringing faith groups and local authorities together to enact and drive change for those who need it within our communities. We’ve even had a Faith Minister or two join us at our events, showing the government’s recognition of this amazing and vital role faith groups can and do play.

However, the work that FaithAction is able to bring a spotlight to is just the tip of the iceberg. In communities across the country, faith groups are working hand in hand with statutory services, making a difference and creating change. This work often goes unrecognised except by those involved, yet it wouldn’t happen without those on both sides recognising the value of faith.
As we celebrate Faith in Partnership Week from 7th to 11th September, why not not think how you could celebrate the work that you’re involved with. How could you highlight the difference you make? How could you encourage other faith groups or statutory services to explore what role they could play?
And if faith in your area hasn’t yet found a way to get involved, why not use the week to encourage those within your statutory services to consider how they could make use of your organisation and what you offer.
You can find out more about Faith in Partnership Week, including a guide full of ideas on what you could do, and templates for advertising your event, on the Faith in Partnership webpage.
And whatever you get up to, why not let us know. Send us an email at info@faithaction.net, or tag us on our social media. We’d love to see what you get up to!
