Good Things Partnership launch digital health services leaflet

Good Things Foundation, fellow member of the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance, has been working on a research and co-design project over the past year, to explore the belief and trust concerns people have around using digital health services, and to develop a simple resource to help address these concerns. The leaflet is now available from the Good Things Foundation website, having been co-designed with people with lived experience of digital exclusion, and with input from health and care staff and others with an interest in digital health services.

The leaflet is intended to be printed off and used in community (and healthcare) settings, to prompt conversation around common concerns about using digital health services. Good Things hopes that by using the leaflet in dialogue, people will feel:

  • Reassured that their concerns are shared by others, and
  • Confident to ask questions about digital health services, and to decide when and how they want to engage with them.

You can also read the wider learning and recommendations from the work of Good Things in their brief report.

Launch and learning event:
On Tuesday 1st July, 12 – 1pm, Good Things will be hosting an online event to share reflections and learning around addressing belief and trust barriers to using digital health services, and setting this in the context of a focus on healthcare inequalities. Also taking part will be colleagues from NHS England and from a community organisation supporting carers to access health and other services online. You can register (for free) for the event on Eventbrite.
