The Missing Link: social prescribing for children and young people

Barnardo’s, fellow partners in the VCSE Health & Wellbeing Alliance, have published a new report: The Missing Link: social prescribing for children and young people

The report examines the current evidence around the benefits of social prescribing for children and young people and brings it together with new research from Barnardo’s services.

The Missing Link: social prescribing for children and young people demonstrates that social prescribing improves children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing and is cost effective. Barnardo’s are calling for a national strategy to ensure all children and young people have access to social prescribing, and to the community activities that support them.
