New funding for dementia choirs

The National Academy of Social Prescribing, in partnership with the Utley Foundation, is offering 100 grants of £1,000 each to eligible choirs and singing groups on a first come first served basis*

This small-grant fund is intended to support social prescribing by helping choirs and singing groups come through a challenging winter and continue providing musical moments of joy to those living with dementia and their carers.

Support for the Power of Music Fund is part of the Utley Foundation’s ongoing commitment to increasing the use of music in dementia care.

*Weighted to ensure grants go to people across the country and to reflect diversity.

Registration for the fund will open on  at 9am on Monday 13 February and will close at 9am on Wednesday 15 February.  You can find out more here.
