SAFE webinars: upcoming safety and security events
Community Security Trust (CST) are hosting a series of SAFE informative sessions from February to April, covering key safety, security, and public protection topics. The events are designed to provide practical guidance, raise awareness of emerging risks, and support organisations and individuals in keeping people safe.
In February, sessions focus on school and event security, practical guidance on Martyn’s Law, and women’s safety, sharing real-world experience and practical tips.
March explores evolving and complex threats, including lone actors, mixed and unstable ideologies, disinformation in the digital age, and how security-minded communications can strengthen protective measures at little or no cost. A new myth-busting session on Martyn’s Law will also address the most common questions.
In April, the programme continues with a new session on nihilistic subcultures and recognising warning signs of violence, alongside a further practical walk-through of Martyn’s Law.
The sessions are suitable for professionals, organisations, and community groups with an interest in safety, security, and public protection.
