Vision for Volunteering Workshops
Vision for Volunteering, a collaboration across the voluntary and community sector, led by NAVCA, NCVO, Volunteering Matters and Sport England, are looking to engage voluntary and community groups to shape a new vision for volunteering. Through a series of workshops and a call for submission of evidence, Vision for Volunteering wants to understand the challenges and opportunites for those involved in volunteering, highlight opportunties for further volunteering and create a series of actions shaped by those who volunteer and support those who volunteer.
Vision for Volunteering are particularly interesting in hearing views around 6 priority areas:
- Health and Wellbeing
- Employment and Skills
- Climate Change
- Younger People Leading Change
- Healthy Ageing
- Resilient Communities
Workshops on these 6 areas will be held across November and December. Registration, and more information about the project, is available on their website.
Vision for Volunteering also ask that people share their vision to the consultation through a ‘Call for Submissions’ portal that is now live and designed for specific evidence-based submissions against key volunteering considerations. You can access the call for submissions here.
