Resources for mental health service users and survivors

The National Survivor User Network have released some resources for anyone who has experienced abuse, victimisation or hate crime directed at them because of their mental distress or psychiatric diagnosis. They are based on research carried out at Middlesex University. The aim is to share some of their research findings with mental health service users and survivors as well as the broader sector, and to give ideas and suggestions about what you can do if you have experienced this kind of abuse.

The report, by Alison Faulkner, is available in English, Urdu, Gujarati, Arabic, Bengali, and easy-read. They also have five short audio interviews with folk involved in the project: Dr Alison Faulkner, Dr Sarah Carr, Tina Coldham, Christine Khisa, and Ian Loynes.
