Community Mental Health Services Framework

A few years ago, the Health and Wellbeing Alliance started working with NHS England and the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health, on community mental health services. A survey was put together and some members of the Alliance held focus groups and interviews with their communities to better understand CMHS/care coordination/planning. On Sunday, the Community Mental Health Services Framework Framework was published by NHS England, which outlines a new integrated place-based community mental health model intended to improve people’s access to, and quality of, care.
