The NHS is running a campaign to ensure people claim free prescriptions only if they are entitled to them – and that they avoid penalty fines.
Some of the key messages are that not all benefits entitle people to free prescriptions, and that pregnant women and new mums must apply for a Maternity Exemption Certificate – a bump is not proof enough!
