Consultation on safeguarding children 

The Government is consulting on changes to the statutory guidance on working together to safeguard children.  This includes replacement of Local Safeguarding Boards with local safeguarding partners; the establishment of a new national Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel; and the transfer of responsibility for child death reviews from Local Safeguarding Children Board to new Child Death Review Partners.
