Funding Round-up

The Anchor Foundation is currently accepting applications for grants of between £500 and £10,000 a year for up to three years to Christian charities that encourage social inclusion through healing and the arts. Deadline for applications is 31st July.

The Paul Hamyln Foundation is offering grants of £10,000 – £60,000 over 2 years to non-profits that work with vulnerable young people and that are looking to widen the impact of their work. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Sport Relief are offering Community Cash grants of £500 – £1,000 to projects that support disadvantaged people in local communities and help them build skills and be more included. Grants are administered by local Community Foundations.

Heart Research UK is currently accepting applications for its Healthy Hearts Grants Programme, which offers grants of up to £5,000 and £10,000 for projects that promote heart health and help to reduce the risk of heart disease in specific groups or communities.

Deadline for applications is 30th March.

Regional Opportunities

The Cory Environmental Trust is offering community grants to support the protection and development of land or building for the benefit of the community, or the preservation of a religious building or one of historical/architectural significance, in a number of areas surrounding Cory Environmental landfill sites. Next deadline for applications is 1st April.

The Skills for Life fund is offering grants of up to £12,500 to groups in Hackney, Lewisham, Southwark or Tower Hamlets that support vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in learning and employment readiness. Deadline for applications is 25th March.

Suffolk: Safer Suffolk are offering small (£250-2,000) and large (£2,000-£20,000) grants to projects that help reduce crime and support its victims. Deadline is 15th April. More info

Kent: Kent Community Foundation are offering grants of £10,000 (£20,000 for partnerships) to projects that support refugees and asylum seekers. Deadline is 29th March. More info

Scotland: The Voluntary Action Fund is offering grants to promote equality and cohesion for charities working with disadvantaged people. Deadline 16th March. More info

Wales: The Community Foundation in Wales is offering New Beginnings grants of up to £10,000 to frontline groups working with refugees and asylum seekers. Deadline 29th March. More info
