The government have announced they are set to inject an emergency £240m into the social care system in an attempt to ease pressure.
This conference will look at ways to improve the provision of adult social care for the older generation as set out in the government green paper. The proposals in the paper will form a long-term blueprint for social care reform, with a view to establishing a sustainable system, capable of meeting the needs of an ever-increasing aged population.
Delegates will gain greater clarity as to the government’s ambitions for the future of social care and have the opportunity to discuss how these plans will impact on people’s lives.
