Faith in Partnership Week 2025

Faith in Partnership Week 2025 is coming! From 8th-12th September join us as we celebrate cross-sector work taking place in the UK at a local and national level and encourage its expansion.

Here at FaithAction, we believe that strong cross-sector partnerships between faith groups and statutory bodies have immense potential to drive and sustain change for the vulnerable and marginalised. However, we still have further to go in ensuring these partnerships are business as usual. For this reason, we began to host an annual Faith in Partnership week in 2021, and it’s now in its fourth year.

Last year’s Faith in Partnership Week was a series of in-person and online events bringing together faith groups, statutory body representatives, local authority representatives, parliamentarians and others to highlight some of the fantastic work being done as part of this collaboration. Our events included a parliamentary panel discussion, hosted by the Bishop of London, Sarah Mullally, to explore the role of faith communities in working with the NHS to address inequalities in maternal health outcomes for women from black and minority ethnic communities, and a Breakfast reception celebrating 10 years of the Faith Covenant, and featuring Lord Khan, the Minister for Faith, outlining how the government is planning to engage with faith.

The team at FaithAction are busily planning for this year’s Faith in Partnership Week, and we’re excited to share our plans with you soon. But why not get involved in the Week yourself? So many of you are involved in amazing work and we want to celebrate that, too. What could you do to mark the week?

We’ll have more information about the week, including a Comms pack to help you promote your Faith in Partnership activity, and some ideas for events you could run. Keep your eyes peeled as we run up to Faith in Partnership Week!
