Essex Council for Voluntary Youth Services
New funds are available from central Government to help small charities in Southend, Essex and Thurrock, who are working with vulnerable children and young people.
Please note the very short deadline – applications need to be received by Friday, 26th June.
To be eligible to apply for the fund you need to be a registered charity, charitable incorporated organisation, or social enterprise; including company limited by guarantee and community interest company (with an income of less than £100,000 per annum).
The funding would be a one-off contribution to help organisations who are experiencing immediate financial hardship, significantly increased demand or who have had to urgently adapt services to meet Covid-19 associated measures.
They are looking to fund:
- Critical front line services to vulnerable children and young people aged 8-18yrs (up to 25 with SEN) and at risk of serious violence in Essex, Southend and Thurrock
- And who have needed to adapt their work in response to the immediate pressures created by Covid-19 would be eligible for funding.
