NHS England review of changes to primary legislation: VCSE workshop

The NHS Long Term Plan included provision to look at legislative changes to help implement the Plan faster and more effectively. NHS England have now launched a consultation on their proposals which aim to support local and national NHS bodies “to be better able to work together to redesign care around patients” and look at how “the rules and processes for procurement, pricing and mergers create unnecessary bureaucracy that gets in the way of enabling integration of care”.

This workshop is being organised by the Richmond Group in collaboration with NHS England to specifically consider the VCSE perspective.

The workshop will be held at Age UK, 1-6 Tavistock Square, London on Monday 8th April from 12 to 4pm. Lunch will be available on arrival.
