The current crisis has provided an excellent opportunity for faith groups and local authorities to work together to tackle the problems and issues raised by our nationwide lockdown at a local level. As we emerge from lockdown, and we take stock of the lessons we can learn from these opportunities, there is a chance to look at the relationship between both faith groups themselves, and between faith groups and local authorities, to help us build more resilient, more connected communities.

Join us as we talk about how faith groups and local authorities have been working together in your region. Have you been working with other faith groups or your local authority during this time? What do you want this relationship to look like going forward? Have you faced any challenges or issues that you think others should know about? Or do you feel you’ve been ignored by others and want to know how to become more involved?

This event is for those from the East of England region. FaithAction are also running other events covering the other 8 regions of England.
