Health inequalities in London: Seeking joint solutions to achieve better health outcomes for all (working title)

LVSC are holding a seminar on Health inequalities in London on Wednesday 29th October from 10am – 4.30 pm at Amnesty International.

This one day seminar is aimed at:

• London’s voluntary & community sector (VCS), in particularly equality groups;
• National VCS organisations that support local communities in London and
• National, regional and local statutory sector organisations, including Clinical Commissioning Groups, Public Health Directors and Health & Wellbeing Boards

The event will address some of the key health inequality challenges facing small to medium sized equality groups and the communities they support in London and look at opportunities and joint solutions to reduce them. Key themes will include housing; access to health and social care services; poverty & deprivation; employment and health and mental health and others. The event also aims to feed into the Mayor’s London Health Inequalities Strategy Delivery Plan, which will be refreshed this year.
