Lloyds Bank Foundation Community Programme

Variable amount grants made for one to three years to support underfunded (less than 12 months of reserves) charities that work to support disadvantaged people in the community. New funding strategy to start in April. Current funding period ends 14th February 2014.

Starbucks Youth Action Grants

Offering grants of up to £2,000 to empower young people (16-24) and help implement their ideas for community change (projects benefit up to 60 people), plus training on budgeting and project management. Funding deadline is 9am 17th March 2014.

Help the Homeless Grant Scheme

Offering grants of up to £5,000 to small and medium sized charities (under £1m turnover) for projects that provide long-term solutions for disadvantaged homeless people. Funding deadline is 15th March 2014.

SITA Enhancing Communities Programme Fast Track Fund

Offering grants of up to £40,000 to support projects of £40,000 or less that involve making improvements to community facilities, sport or recreation facilities, or historic properties. Requires contribution payment of 11% of grant. Funding deadline is 24th February 2014. Subsequent deadline is 14th April 2014.

People's Postcode Trust Small Grants Programme

Offering grants of between £500-£20,000 for projects that last no longer than six months and deal with one of the following: poverty, sickness or distress; health; participation in sports; citizenship or community development; promotion and improvement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation; promotion or advancement of environmental protection or improvement. Funding deadline is 21st February 2014. Subsequent deadline is 20th May 2014.
