Defra are offering one-time funding of up to £200,000 over two years, for the development and delivery of volunteer management training, to enable environmental volunteering organisations to build capacity, creating more volunteering opportunities and support local community volunteering. Deadline for applications is 15th March. More info


The Kelly Family Charitable Trust is offering grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 to registered UK charities that work to create strong and supportive bonds within the family unit. The Trust is particularly interested in partnerships that offer coherent support to improve the quality of family life. Current deadline for applications is 1st March, with following deadline being 1st September. More info


The St John Southworth Fund is offering grants of up to £10,000 to organisations working in London that work with one of the following: the poor, the elderly or infirm, the homeless, the disabled, deprived children. Deadline for applications is 18th March. More info


The Ashworth Charitable Trust is offering grants of up to £3,000 to registered charities with a turnover of under £1m. Grants are available for any general charitable work, with a focus on humanitarian projects. Deadline for application is mid-March. More info
