The Hilton in the Community Foundation is offering funding of up to £30,000 to charities working with disadvantaged children and young people most in need. Eligible projects will involve education, healthcare or disaster relief involving children and young people. Current deadline for applications is February 12th, with following deadline being May 7th. The Bodfach Trust are offering grants of under £500 to charities involved with affordable housing, elderly care, young people, preservation of buildings, or support of green spaces. The Trust will also provide advice and active involvement in activities. Current deadline for applications is February 28th, with following deadline being August 31st. More info

 

The Inman Charity are offering a £275,000 fund with grants of £1,500 – £5,000 for charities running projects involved in social welfare and disadvantaged people, including medical research, elderly care, hospices, the deaf and blind, and the physically and mentally disabled. Current deadline for applications is February 28th, with following deadline being August 31st. More info

 

Macmillan Cancer Support are offering grants to new groups of up to £500, and to existing groups of up to £3,000, that work with people affected by cancer, including individuals or groups wishing to start a self-help and support group. Current deadline for application is February 28th, with following deadline being April 30th. More info

 

The Peter Cruddas Foundation is providing discretionary grants to charities involved in working with disadvantaged and disengaged young people. Priority funding includes support for mainstream education, training and employment, crime diversion schemes, work experience and skills projects, mentoring, and other youth work. Current deadline for applications is March 1st, with following deadline being September 1st. More info
