Following on from the success of previous years, the campaign will run for its 5th consecutive year, encouraging mosques across the UK to open their doors and invite those from all faiths and none to come together to build more cohesive and stronger relationships in their local communities.
They are excited to share that for its 5th year anniversary, #VisitMyMosque is going green! For several years, many mosques have actively organised street clean events in their local neighbourhoods, so working in collaboration with the national environment charity Keep Britain Tidy, this year they’ll be celebrating mosques that have already been going green, as well as encouraging even more mosques to organise street cleans in their neighbourhood this Spring!
