FaithAction Coffee House: Mental health post-lockdown

Date
Wednesday, 9th September 2020
Time
11:00am - 12:00pm

We’re opening up a weekly FaithAction Coffee House for all of our members.

With the help of one or two guest speakers, we will facilitate a conversation on a topic of interest to you, before opening the floor for each of you to share any stories, best-practices, or challenges you’ve faced. It’s an opportunity for each of you to share what you’ve learnt with others, and to glean wisdom and ideas from each other as you learn about what other members around the country are up to.

You’re likely facing many of the same challenges; why not see if anyone else has a solution!

This week’s theme will be mental health post-lockdown

Our next Coffee House revisits the topic of mental health – we would like to hear your views on the ‘the new normal’ and the effect it can have on people that are living with mental health issues, both before and during the lockdown.

For example:

  • How will people’s mental health fare if facing redundancy when the furlough period ends?
  • How are people coping in areas that are under local lockdown restrictions?
  • How are people being supported to get back into society when they have been shielding?

Come along and share your thoughts and concerns and tell us how your faith or community group are supporting people that are experiencing difficulties.
