Engage 2020

Registrations have now opened for Engage 2020.

Hosted by the Engagement Practitioners Network (EPN) and aimed at public engagement professionals across the health and care system, this conference format is new and exciting. The over-arching theme is ‘What we have learned about community engagement from the recent pandemic, and how we can apply this to the recovery of the health system, building a better health system for all’.

The conference takes place from 16 – 27 November.  The programme brochure is attached and has over 60 sessions for you to choose from. You can book as many (or as few) sessions as you like, build your own conference programme to suit you! Be sure not to miss their ‘main stage’ keynote panel speakers on the 23 and 26 November.

The whole event has been co-designed with network members. They are all still learning about new ways to engage with people and communities and Engage 2020 gives them a chance to gain new ideas, techniques and learn from each other

What to expect from Engage 2020:

• A wide range of health and care engagement professionals coming together to share ideas about new ways of working
• Opportunity to explore together the latest thinking about working in genuine partnership with people and communities
• An array of practical ideas, resources, insight and tools to take away
• Chance to build meet like-minded peers and build connections /ul>

How to register for the conference

Click on this registration link, it will take you to the Engage 2020 event page of NHS England/Improvement’s booking system (if you don’t already have an account, you will be asked to create one, its quick and easy!).

Explore the conference brochure (linked on the registration page) for detailed information about each day’s workshop topics and speakers.  Then click on each day to book the workshops that you want to attend on that day, you can book a place on as many workshops as you want for each day, but do check times, some sessions are at the same time.

Once you have added all the workshops you would like to attend, on each of the different days, you can then ‘check out’. All our events in our virtual conference are free to join. You will be sent an automated email confirming that you have booked sessions, but because this is a virtual event, detailed joining information and links will be sent directly to you nearer the time of your workshops.
