The Centre for Health and Development (CHAD) at Staffordshire University would like to invite you to join an interactive webinar about COVID-19 and homelessness at 09:30 on 25th September 2020.
The team at CHAD are working with Expert Citizens, VOICES of Stoke-on-Trent and Public Health England to understand the experiences, challenges and needs of people experiencing homelessness and those working to support them during Everyone In (the national policy to move those sleeping rough/living in shared hostel accommodation in to emergency accommodation). The first phase of this work involved interviews with a range of individuals representing different organisations/places and taking into account the current unprecedented context.
During this workshop, CHAD will present preliminary findings, with discussion and feedback to inform recommendations for practice and policy in the wake of Everyone In. This means that participation from people across the system, from policy makers to commisioners, frontline workers and service users is both welcome and needed.
