Commitment to Carers Programme: Mind The Gap Project Launch Webinar

The NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) makes clear a need to tackle health inequalities, prevent illness and meet unmet need for people and communities who have been left behind. There is a clear commitment within The LTP to identify and support carers from vulnerable communities.
NHS E/I are launching Mind the Gap, a programme which aims to help localities to identify and support carers from vulnerable communities through co-production and carer-led innovation.
The project launch webinar is on the 7th September 2020, 10:30am-12pm.
The project aims to support Integrated Care Systems to deliver on the Long-Term Plan Commitment to improve the identification and support of carers from vulnerable communities that are less likely to use and/or have positive experiences of services.
The audience will be made up of carers (who will also be sharing their experiences), inequalities and migrant health leads, voluntary sector organisations, carers organisations, and carers leads from STP/ICS localities.
