'Speak In'

FaithAction is pleased to be working with NCB and Voice 4 Change to draw together black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) and faith organisations into a localised forum to influence local children and young people's public services (Children's Trusts) and link into existing local and/or regional children and young people third sector networks.

Abid Satwilkar is currently co-ordinating this programme for FaithAction in the North West with Steve Miller in London.

Young People and Money

LifeLine in partnership with FaithAction are delivering FREE training, funded by the Financial Services Authority to;
  • Give those who work with young people the confidence to talk about financial issues;
  • Make the management of money easy to understand;
  • Help young people to make the most of the money they have by avoiding and getting out of debt;
  • Effect long-term radical change among the young people of today by giving them the tools to manage their own finances.
This training is specifically for people working with young people who are NEET or have the potential to become so. Our funding allows us to offer this training for free for those who work or volunteer for faith-based and community organisations.

The course runs from 0930 - 1630 for one day for groups of 15 - 22. If you would be interested in hosting one of these training events at your premises, contact Felicity Holland, National Co-ordinator on 0845 094 6350 or search the Calendar Page for dates the courses are being run near you.
