More about FaithBook & FaithAction

  • About the network
FaithAction is a network of faith-based and community organisations that are interested in delivering public services. We work with organisations that are already delivering contracted work for statutory organisations and also with organisations interested in doing so. Most of the organisations that are part of the network are faith-based or in some way serve individuals who are part of faith groups.

The FaithAction network is not for every organisation. For a variety of reasons, some organisations may feel that they do not wish to pursue statutory funding or deliver public services. The focus of our work is on supporting those organisations that are interested in doing so and on creating a joined up network of faith-based and community organisations that can share best practice and help each other to deliver public services more effectively.

  • Benefits
For larger organisations already delivering public services, there are considerable benefits to being part of the FaithAction network. These include being able to partner with similar organisations in other parts of the country or within your region as well as being part of larger, national consortia that are able to bid for larger contracts directly from central government.

Organisations that are new to delivering public services and/or accessing statutory funding can access a wide range of support and training to develop the skills of individuals involved in negotiating and managing contracts and to create the organisational capacity required to effectively access statutory funding and deliver contracts.
